Chris Bove Memorial Uphill Challenge

Where: Buttermilk Mountain, Aspen
An 1,800-vertical-foot climb up Buttermilk ski area. Open to racers and hikers on any type of equipment (e.g., skis, snowshoes, stabilizers). Proceeds benefit Challenge Aspen’s scholarship program and the Children’s Hospital Immunodeficiency Program of Denver. $35 pre-registration; $40 on race day.

America’s Uphill
When: March 13, 2010
Where: Aspen
Aspen’s spring ritual — a 3,000 foot climb up Aspen Mountain using snowshoes, track skis, telemark skis or alpine touring gear.  The course starts at the Base of the Little Nell and finishes at the Sundeck Restaurant at an elevation of 11,212 feet.
